Almost three years ago I was roped into playing Santa for the youth in our church. One of my daughters had just given birth to my first grandchild, Hazel. So my wife and my children ganged up on me and told me how wonderful it would be for her to have your grandfather in her first Santa picture. Despite what you may or may not have heard, I am a big sappy dope, when it comes to little ones. So I went willingly into that Red and White abyss.

Fast forward two and a half years and my other daughter is having a baby and is insisting that I do the same for my new granddaughter Poppy… so it BEGINS!

But wait… I am really expert at Photoshop and I told my daughter that I would gladly photoshop my new granddaughter in one of the Santa pics that I took…. that didn’t go over well… AT ALLL!

Then she went over my head and got the wife involved. Although I have purchased my own suit yet, I suspect it won’t be long until I have my very own Santa Suit. So I think I will have to dress up as the Coca-Cola Santa for every one of my grandchildren, the thing is, I have six children, the number of grandchildren could get quite large.

It wouldn’t be so bad if I could dress up like the Santa from Rise of the Guardians. He’s Russian, he’s covered in tats and has two huge machete sword things strapped to his back.

Now that Santa is awesome!
